Default Have a sense of humor

Although cancer is not to be taken lightly, a healthy sense of humor helps to prevent a spirit of pessimism. The Du Toit’s ready sense of humor illustrates the point. Collette, Neil du Toit’s youngest sister, explains: “Because we have learned to cope with certain situations, we can laugh at things that happen to us that might seem very upsetting to others. But doing so really helps to relieve the tension.”

Thanks for sharing your stories. I think the best thing is family and friends and their support and love. If you surround yourself with good friends and family and live life to it's fullest each and every day, the fight is a lot easier. Think good thoughts and enjoy your life. Prayer is also a strong medicine to fight cancer.
