Default Treatment options for prostate cancer

The treatment of prostate cancer depends on whether the cancer has spread
beyond the prostate area or not. If it is still within the prostate area then radiation therapy ( where x rays are used to kill infected cancer cells) is used.
Surgery is also an option. It is known as radical prostatectomy. But if the cancer has spread beyond the prostate area, these methods can not work. In such cases 'hormone therapy' is used where hormones are used to slow the cancer's growth.

There is an alternative treatment that can and do cure all types of cancer: The Rife machine. My cancer - Non Hodgkins Disease was cured and another with stomach cancer and another with lung cancer that were left to die are the ones I personnally know about. I know many will not believe me but should you be inclined to investgate you might just be surprised and converted or you can email me for full details.

Cancer in any form could be dangerous and considered to be the most deadly disease but the treatment options are very limited either it is surgery or radiation therapy. But the best thing about it that if we can detect it at an early stage so the treatment would be easier.

Active treatment usually begins a few weeks to months after diagnosis. During this time, you should meet with various doctors to learn about your treatment choices. Use this article to help you talk over possible treatments with your doctor before deciding which is best for you.

Different types of treatment are available for patients with prostate cancer. Some treatments are standard (the currently used treatment), and some are being tested in clinical trials. A treatment clinical trial is a research study meant to help improve current treatments or obtain information on new treatments for patients with cancer. When clinical trials show that a new treatment is better than the standard treatment, the new treatment may become the standard treatment. Patients may want to think about taking part in a clinical trial. Some clinical trials are open only to patients who have not started treatment.

Radical prostatectomy is a surgery to remove the whole prostate gland and the nearby lymph nodes. After the prostate gland is taken out through an incision, a catheter is put through the penis into the bladder to carry urine out of the body until the area heals.Other kinds of prostate surgery are less invasive and have different risks and recovery rates. Your doctor will help decide which type of surgery is the best option for you. Laparoscopic surgery helps the surgeon see inside your body using a thin tube with a tiny camera attached to it. Small cuts are made near the tumor site, and thin tools are used to remove the tumor and surrounding tissue. Some hospitals also have robots to assist in this kind of surgery. The doctor operates the robot arm from a computer.
